Insurance & Treatment Options

Insurance & Treatment Options

At The Smile Method, your treatment plan is guided by what’s best for your health — not by insurance limitations. We believe every patient deserves to understand their full range of options, and Dr. Kover will always present the care that serves your long-term oral health first.

Dental Insurance

We accept most major PPO dental insurance plans and will work with your carrier to help you understand and make the most of your benefits. Our team verifies your coverage before your appointment and files all claims on your behalf, so you can focus on your care rather than the paperwork.

We currently accept coverage from the following carriers:

  • Delta Dental
  • MetLife
  • Cigna
  • Aetna
  • Guardian
  • United Concordia
  • Humana

Not sure whether your plan is accepted? Contact our team and we’ll look into it before your first visit.

Your Health Comes First

Insurance coverage is a practical consideration — it isn’t what drives Dr. Kover’s clinical recommendations. When Dr. Kover evaluates your oral health and develops a treatment plan, he recommends what is best for your long-term health outcomes, full stop. If a procedure is the right choice for your health, you’ll hear about it regardless of what your insurance covers.

Our team will always give you a clear picture of your estimated coverage and your out-of-pocket responsibility before any treatment begins. We believe informed patients make better decisions, and transparency is part of that commitment.

If you’re out of network with your plan, we’ll still file claims on your behalf and provide detailed cost estimates so you know exactly what to expect.

The Smile Method Membership Plan

For patients who prefer a straightforward approach to dental care without the complexity of insurance, we offer an in-house membership plan. The plan is designed for simplicity: a flat annual fee covers your preventive care, with preferred member rates applied to any additional treatment you may need — no claims to file, no waiting periods, no annual maximums.

If you’d like to learn more about the membership plan, visit our Membership Plan & Payment Options page or contact our office directly.

Payment Options

We accept cash, all major credit cards, and CareCredit healthcare financing. CareCredit allows patients to manage the cost of treatment over time through extended payment plans — contact us or visit the CareCredit website to learn more about available terms.
